Updating data sheets for Glen Dimplex Thermal Solutions, a manufacturer of chillers for the medical, food processing, and machine tool industries, was no small task. Previous versions were created by engineering staff and lacked consistent branding and organized content.
I took some time to do an in-depth study of the information presented, organized it in a manner that would be most useful to the end user, and applied branding elements along with typographic best practices to create data sheets that were easy to read (or skim). This information scheme was carried throughout a series of 12 data sheets with varying amounts of content while successfully maintaining a consistent look and feel. Presenting the full product line in a modern and professional manner was very important to maintain the Glen Dimplex brand identity and inspire customer confidence.
